There’s also the original claim that the Trump phone would be made in America. At some point, Trump Mobile changed its website to remove that language, replacing it with “American-proud design.” (That has since further morphed into “Proudly American.”) According to NBC, the actual box for the phone says it is “proudly assembled in the USA.”
